Julia

Crafton

At 18 years old, Julia Crafton has written and released three albums – Woodstock Child (2022), Nothing (2023), and Society’s Child 2.0 (feat. ETHEL) (2024). She has headlined New York’s most iconic venues such as The Bitter End, The Cutting Room and is the youngest artist to have performed five headlining shows at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Balcony Bar From Home Series and the Petrie Court Cafe: Date Night Series) with Grammy Award winning string quartet, ETHEL.

After graduating high school a year early, Crafton moved to the Bywater in New Orleans to learn from the deep musical culture the city has to offer. Now she is returning to New York as a first-year at NYU Tisch in the Rita and Burton Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing.

“In twenty years… I want to be pacing a brownstone in fuzzy slippers with a pitbull having written a Broadway musical (laughs).”
